Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Produce Stocker in Edson, AB to provide excellent customer service and keep the produce area organized for a positive shopping experience. The role focuses on freshness, pricing accuracy, and compliance with food safety and cold chain standards at 5750 2ND AVE, EDSON, AB.

You will rotate stock, maintain displays, and support a fast-paced store environment with flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Keeps the produce department clean, organized, and neatly zoned so it is ready for customers at all times.
• Rotates products regularly and removes expired items to ensure freshness and quality.
• Makes sure all produce is correctly priced and signed, following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, labels, and signage.
• Follows food safety, sanitation, and cold chain procedures, including temperature checks, thermometer use, proper food handling, and compliance with sell by and expiration dates.
• Stocks and downstocks merchandise as needed, applies product protection when required, and sets modulars, including flex modulars and shelf caps, to keep the department fully stocked.
• Follows all Health and Safety policies to help maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
