Job summary

Qualifications

  • Grade(s)/assignment: Core French to Grades 4-8.
  • Required subject qualifications: FSL Part 1.
  • FTE: 1.0.
  • Ontario teaching certificate (OCT) in good standing.
  • FSL qualifications and successful completion of the Boards written French competency test are required.
  • The test will be administered to person’s if/when they are recommended for a specific French position following an interview.
  • Elementary LTO Salary Range: $53,352 to $119,967/year (Placement on salary grid is based on QECO rating and teaching experience. Salary will be pro-rated based on the position FTE).

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to help students grow.
