Job summary

The Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) invites applications for an Occasional Teacher in Long Term Assignment within the French Immersion - PTM division. The role is a 1.00 FTE position under the Elementary Collective Agreement and follows the terms of the OECTA agreement.

Schedule is per collective agreement, with priority given to unplaced qualified applicants by seniority. We encourage applicants from Ontario Certified Teacher pools and education students who hold or have applied

Qualifications

• Ontario Certified Teacher applicants preferred
• Education Act and Regulations qualifications apply
• Applicants from Ontario Certified Teacher or education students who have applied for Transitional Certificates may be considered

Responsibilities

• Fill Long Term Assignment under Part A, Article 17.3 of the OECTA Elementary Collective Agreement
• Priority placement to unplaced, qualified redundant teacher applicants by seniority
• Coordinate with elementary bargaining groups and follow board and union procedures
