Elk Island Public Schools is seeking an interim, part-time French Immersion Grade 1 Teacher for Heritage Hills Elementary in Sherwood Park, AB. The appointment is 0.511 FTE and runs from Sept 21, 2026 to June 29, 2027.

The candidate will need a Bachelor of Education and a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate, with excellent French skills and strong classroom management. Internal and external applicants are welcome.

EIPS is recruiting an interim, part-time (0.511 FTE) French Immersion Grade 1 Teacher working at Heritage Hills Elementary.

Heritage Hills Elementary serves approximately 525 students in kindergarten the Grade 6 , with 24 teaching staff and 10 support staff . The school is located in Sherwood Park, AB.

• Commencing September 21, 2026 and ending June 29, 2027
