The York Region District School Board invites applications for a French Core teaching position. Compensation will be determined under the current ETFO Elementary Teacher Collective Agreement and pro-rated per FTE, QECO rating, and years of experience.

Candidates must possess French qualifications and OCT certification or be in process of obtaining OCT status prior to starting. A satisfactory police check is required for all successful candidates.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have French qualifications.
• All successful candidates are required to provide a satisfactory police record check.
• Candidates must be OCT qualified or in the process of becoming OCT qualified prior to the start date.
• Candidates must meet the Board's language standard for French Core.
• External applicants may need three professional references; internal applicants should provide two references including a YRDSB administrator.
