Job summary

Sobeys is seeking a Franchise Store Operator for an independent Foodland banner location in Ontario. You will lead all facets of store operation, set strategic direction, and drive performance with a focus on people, customer experience, and profit.

With 3-5 years of retail leadership experience, you will manage 50+ teammates, uphold brand standards, and ensure safety and quality across daily operations while growing the local business with corporate support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience leading people in a retail environment.
• Strong business and financial acumen with proven results.
• Superior leadership and communication skills.
• Experience building and developing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all facets of store operations for a 50+ employee location.
• Drive customer experience, sales, and profitability while upholding brand standards.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with franchisor and corporate network for strategic initiatives.
• Provide coaching and development to store staff to foster a positive culture.
