Franchise Business Coach

Oxford Learning is currently looking for a Franchise Business Coach to join our Head Office team. Oxford Learning is a supplemental education company with multiple franchise locations across Canada. We have a great team and are passionate about our mission of helping children reach their highest potential.

Oxford Learning offers flexible working conditions. Our Head Office is in London, ON; however this posting is for any suitable candidate from the GTA. Travel is required for this role. You must reside in Canada to perform this role. Relocation packages are not offered.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with franchisees.
  • Visit Oxford locations on a regular basis to assess Centre operations.
  • Advise franchisees on the optimal use of business systems to enhance Centre performance and profitability.
  • Consult with franchisees to design and implement strategic plans and tactics that drive improvements in operations, finance, and marketing.
  • Analyze data and market trends to guide business decisions and formulate consultation plans for both under-performing and well-performing locations.
  • Work cross functionally to manage and resolve customer complaints.
  • Identify and promote best practices across the franchise network.
  • Motivate, persuade and inspire franchisees through ongoing consultations.
  • Serve as the front-line point-of-contact for franchisees.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Road Warrior: must be able to travel extensively, 30%-50%, at the local and regional level.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
  • Strong business acumen and consultation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through different mediums and with different audiences.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret information to identify the root cause of an issue and initiate the problem-solving process.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
  • Previous experience with a multi-unit franchise preferred.
  • A valid Canadian driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
