Eligibility List

All Occasional Teachers are eligible to apply for Long Term Occasional postings for which they are qualified. If you are fully external to the OCDSB, you may apply to this posting if you have the required qualifications.

1. Current elementary occasional teacher applicants, followed by
2. Qualified external applicants.

Process for selection

A minimum of 3 qualified applicants will be offered an interview, including:

1. At least three (3) teachers, who are currently employed as an occasional teacher with the OCDSB, and who have the required OCT qualifications and who best meet the criteria outlined in the job posting.
2. If fewer than 3 qualified applicants apply, all qualified applicants will be interviewed.
