Job summary

Walter Surface Technologies in Pointe-Claire, QC seeks a Manager, FP&A to lead budgeting, monthly analysis, and reporting to the Director of M&A and Strategic Finance. You will partner with IT to enhance dashboards and develop financial models.

The role requires at least five years in FP&A, strong English/French communication, and experience with ERP/BI systems. CPA/CFA are assets, and you will coach the FP&A team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of FP&A and financial analysis experience.
People management or team leadership experience is a plus.
CPA, CFA or equivalent designation is considered an asset.
Experience in a multi-unit organization or Big 4 exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

Analyze monthly results, explain variances to budget and prior periods, and identify key profitability drivers.
Prepare MD&A, financial reports, and analyses for management and the Board.
Partner with management by providing financial analysis and actionable recommendations.
Oversee FP&A processes including sales reporting, commission calculations, and reporting.
Manage pricing maintenance and support annual price increases.
Lead budgeting coordination across business units and functions.
Collaborate with IT to enhance dashboards, BI tools, and automated reporting.
Coach FP&A team and establish strong practices and standards.
