Job Description

Sales Operations Manager – Inventory, Sales & Planning

The Operations Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing inventory intake, sales analysis, inventory supply to sales channels, and planning activities. The role ensures optimal product availability, supports sales growth, and improves operational efficiency while minimizing inventory shortages and excess stock.

The position works cross-functionally with purchasing, logistics, marketing, and finance teams, translating data and forecasts into actionable operational decisions that directly impact sales performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
Inventory Intake Management
  • Full responsibility for planning and controlling inventory intake to warehouses, stores, and sales channels
  • Ongoing collaboration with purchasing suppliers, logistics, and warehouses
  • Monitoring delivery schedules, quantities, delays, and exceptions
  • Ensuring alignment between purchase orders, shipments, and actual stock receipts
Sales Analysis & Performance Monitoring
  • Analysis of daily, weekly, and monthly sales data
  • Identification of trends, gaps, strong and weak products
  • Analysis of sell-through, slow-moving inventory, shortages, and growth opportunities
  • Providing actionable insights and operational recommendations
Planning & Forecasting
  • Building sales forecasts by category, product, and season
  • Planning inventory depth in line with sales targets
  • Aligning inventory plans with marketing activities, campaigns, and peak seasons
  • Ongoing collaboration with marketing, commercial
Inventory Supply for Sales
  • Smart allocation of inventory across channels (stores, online, markets)
  • Managing critical shortages and prioritizing inventory distribution
  • Ensuring product availability for campaigns and promotions
  • Direct operational support for sales growth and availability optimization

Required Skills & Experience

  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills
