Job summary

Roska DBO Inc. is seeking a 4th Class Power Engineer for a facility north of Grande Prairie. Local candidates with sour gas plant experience are encouraged to apply.

The position operates on a 28-day rotation and does not provide camp accommodations. You must be comfortable working with H2S gas and under mask, and maintain a clean driving record. Requirements include valid First Aid & H2S Alive, willingness to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test, and a strong detail-oriented,

Qualifications

• 4th Class Power Engineer certification is required.
• 2–5 years of sour gas plant experience is preferred.
• Candidates must be local to Grande Prairie; no camp or accommodations provided.
• Valid First Aid and H2S Alive certifications are required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

Job description

Our client, a major oil and gas company, is looking for a 4th Class Power Engineer for their facility North of Grande Prairie. Candidates with sour gas plant experience in the range of 2-5 years are encouraged to apply. The position with run on a 28 Day rotation. Candidates must be local to the Grande Prairie area as no camp or accommodations are provided.

Additional requirements include:

• ValidFirst Aid & H2S Alive
• Comfortable working with H2S gas and under mask
• Clean driving abstract required
• Capable of passing pre-employment drug & alcohol test
• Strong aptitude for detail, disciplined work ethic and the ability to take initiative as well as to accept direction
• Capable of working in both a team and individual environment
