Job description

Build the AI agents and data pipelines that decide whether brands get cited in AI answers — with full ownership over design, architecture, and execution.

For twenty years, getting found meant ranking on Google. That era is closing. Buyers now ask ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity what to buy, who to trust, and which vendor to shortlist. The model answers. Most brands have no idea whether they are in that answer or invisible to it.

ChatFeatured is the platform that makes brands the answer. We do the agentic content generation, the publishing, and the analytics that decide whether a CEO, CMO, or CRO sees your name when an AI recommends a category leader. This is the next discovery layer, and it is being built right now.

Why this role

This isn't a traditional "pick up tickets" job. You'll own entire surfaces of the product end-to-end: the agents that interpret AI answers, the data pipelines that turn raw prompt responses into analytics, the systems that generate and publish optimized content, and the attribution that ties it back to revenue. You'll build, validate, and ship at startup pace — and you’ll have full autonomy in design, architecture and execution.

What you'll do

• Design and build AI agents that do real work across the platform — generating effective content, running data analytics, and more, all at scale
• Own durable ETL pipelines that move from raw prompt data to clean, queryable analytics — and keep them reliable at volume
• Build product features across the stack, from data models up to the UI customers actually use
• Ship the content generation and publishing systems that close visibility gaps for brands
• Make pragmatic architecture calls, validate them quickly, and iterate — short feedback loops over big-bang launches
• Set the engineering bar early: the patterns you establish become how we build

What we're looking for

• Hungry and high-output. You want to build a lot, fast, and you take pride in shipping things that work at scale, not just on your local machine.
• Strong fundamentals. You understand systems, data structures, concurrency, and tradeoffs deeply — not just framework syntax.
• Experience building AI agents — tool use, orchestration, evals, and the messy realities of getting LLMs to do reliable work in production.
• A blend of data engineering and software engineering. You're as comfortable structuring data to power features (think dashboards) as you are building product features.
• Ownership and independence. You can take an ambiguous goal, scope it, and drive it to shipped without hand-holding.
• A builder's bias. You'd rather prototype, measure, and learn than debate in the abstract.
• Experience with high-volume data systems and columnar analytics (ClickHouse or similar)
• Durable execution and workflow orchestration (Cloudflare Workflows, Temporal, Inngest, or similar)
• You've been early at a startup before and know what that actually demands

Our stack

TypeScript / Node.js end-to-end. Next.js on the front, Postgres as the primary store, ClickHouse for analytics. We run durable workflows on Cloudflare (Workflows, R2, Durable Objects). We care about the right tool for the job over dogma.
