Job summary

Stripe is seeking a senior engineer to shape features beyond out-of-box Stripe integrations. You may build standalone apps deployed in user environments or augment teams to deliver faster connections to Stripe.

You will take ownership of new projects and steer the Forward Deployed Engineering arm with a focus on security and scalability. Work closely with Product & Engineering, engaging users to understand requirements, and delivering high-quality production applications while driving direction

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional, hands-on full-stack development experience with listed languages.
• Experience with backend infrastructure and scalable system design.
• Proven ability to design, build, and deploy production applications.
• excellence at rapid prototyping while maintaining quality.
• Familiarity with containerized applications and OO languages.
• Strong problem-solving and business sense for development.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect robust technical solutions, secure and scalable.
• Design, build, and deploy production applications with Stripe practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, bridging tech and executives.
• Drive direction of Forward Deployed Engineering and related projects.
• Engage with users to understand challenges and co-develop solutions.
• Contribute tooling and best practices that scale across accounts.
