Job description

FortiSASE is a SaaS-based service that combines network and security functions with WAN capabilities, enabling users to securely access the Internet from anywhere.

Job Responsibilities

1. Execute feature and bug fix testing for the FortiSASE cloud-hosted security solution using manual and automated testing techniques.
2. Help build frameworks and packages for end-to-end automation involving multiple products.
3. Collaborate with internal teams to diagnose and troubleshoot issues in production and staging environments.
4. Identify, document, and track software defects found during testing.
5. Work closely with developers to ensure defects are correctly identified and fixed.

Job Skills Required

1. 5+ years of QA experience in a SaaS or IaaS environment, or in network security technologies such as IPsec, SSL/TLS, VPN, DNS, SD-WAN.
2. Ability to create and maintain test infrastructure.
3. Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, firewalls, switching, and routing.
4. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
5. Ability to troubleshoot web applications, networks, and cloud infrastructure logically and analytically.
6. Experience with OpenStack, AWS, GCP, Azure is preferred.
7. Experience with RabbitMQ is a plus.
8. Experience with endpoint software (e.g., FortiClient) is an asset.
9. Experience building frameworks in Java or Python is a plus.
10. Fortinet and other vendor certifications are advantageous.

Educational Requirements

• A degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or a related field.

The salary range in Canada for this full-time position is approximately $92,000 - $112,000 annually, based on various factors including experience and qualifications.
