Giusti Group of Companies in Nanaimo, BC is seeking a Formwork Foreman with 8+ years in concrete formwork and 2-3 years in supervision. You will oversee crews, read blueprints, and coordinate trades to ensure high-quality construction outcomes.

This full-time, in-person role offers CA$42.00–CA$47.00 per hour, overtime, and a benefits program including dental care, extended health care, RRSP match, and vision care. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years concrete formwork experience.
• 2-3 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to operate machinery including skid steer and telehandler.

Responsibilities

• Promotes, supports and facilitates teamwork between all construction crews by promoting a positive culture.
• Ensuring the health and safety of each crew members.
• Follow and enforce company health and safety program.
• Assesses competency and capability of trades persons.
• Assigns individual and crew tasks.
• Sets and maintains work standards and outlining behavioral expectations to ensure crew morale and productivity.

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Formwork Foreman to join our team. As a Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing construction projects and ensuring their successful completion. Qualifications

• 8 or more years concrete formwork experience.
• 2-3 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity
• Ability to proficiently read and interpret blue prints.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Must have reasonably clean drivers abstract
• Ability to operate machinery including skid steer and telehandler
