Job summary

Jacob Bros Construction is actively seeking Formwork Carpenters for projects in British Columbia, including Vancouver. You will read plans, assemble wood and engineered formwork, and construct formwork for foundations, footings, walls, columns and slabs.

We value five years of formwork carpentry experience and offer group benefits, RRSP, vacation pay, and a referral bonus program. Eligible candidates must be legal to work in Canada with no rotations or LOA.

Qualifications

• Five years of proven formwork carpentry experience preferred.
• Journeyman or Apprentice Carpenter certification is an asset.
• Must be legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets plans, drawings and specifications.
• Assembles and installs wood and engineered formwork systems.
• Builds structural formwork for foundations, footings and slabs.
• Handles additional labour duties as assigned.

Jacob Bros Construction is immediately hiring Formwork Carpenters for projects at YVR.

Responsibilities:

• Reads and interprets plans, drawings and specifications


• Assembles and installs wood and engineered formwork systems


• Builds structural formwork for concrete foundations, footings, retaining walls, columns, beams, suspended slabs and shafts


• Other labour duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Five (5) years proven formwork carpentry experience for a privately held or family-owned general contracting business is preferred


• Journeyman or Apprentice Carpenter certification is an asset


• Must be legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada


• No rotations or LOA will be given
