Job summary

Breakaway Staffing Solutions Inc. is seeking a careful forklift operator (Counterbalance) to move packages and materials around our facilities. You will operate a forklift with due care to ensure efficiency and safety across warehouses, storage spaces and related areas.

Requirements: proven forklift experience, valid certification, excellent physical condition and coordination, and strong attention to detail. This is a full-time position in Brampton, Ontario, paying CA$30.00 hourly.

Responsibilities

• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to the assigned places.
• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Transport raw materials to production workstations.
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
• perform general labor duties where necessary.
• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs.
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment in the facilities.
