Adecco is currently hiring several full-time reliable and detail-oriented Forklift Operators - Reach Truck to join our client's warehouse team in Calgary, AB. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of materials-from receiving and stocking to order picking, packing, and shipping. You'll play a key role in maintaining quality, accuracy, and safety across all warehouse functions. This is a hands‑on warehouse position that combines operating equipment with order picking, packing, shipping, and general warehouse duties.

Responsibilities
  • Receiving - Accurately and productively verifies delivery bills and verifies product received. Identify compliance issues such as; overages, shortages damaged product, packaging issues and incorrect parts. Matches bar code stocking tag with corresponding parts.
  • Stocking - Accurately and productively stocks material in appropriate locations considering quantity, size, weight, volume, and type of product.
  • Order Picking - Accurately and productively process customer orders selecting specified part quantities from assigned inventory locations including radio frequency. Matches bin part numbers with computer order number.
  • Packing - Accurately and productively consolidates individual customer orders, properly packing items ensuring product will not be damaged in transit to the customer. Rough carpentry performed occasionally
  • Shipping - Accurately and productively prepares preliminary shipping documenting weight, piece count and freight classification of all products. Ship customer orders as routed loading shipment on appropriate carrier
  • Assists in the training of other employees. May perform other duties such as, maintenance of stocking locations, cycle counting, not-in-stock research, pre-packing, etc.
  • Essential cross‑training and rotation through all warehouse functions as business needs dictate
Qualifications
  • Valid forklift certification AND 1 year experience OR 2 years' experience.
  • Able to provide two references as to your Forklift Experience.
  • Regular full‑time attendance essential.
  • Regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent standing, bending, lifting, reaching and sitting.
  • Withstand heights up to 30 feet.
  • Operate power equipment safely
  • Speak, read, and interpret documents such as safety rules, part numbers and descriptions, write English in a clear and articulate manner, possesses basic problem solving, and basic math and number recognition skills.
  • Vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral, and depth perception.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
