Position:

Forklift Operator

Pay Rate:

Schedule:

Monday to Friday (Afternoon Shift: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM)

Responsibilities:
  • Safely and efficiently operate a counterbalance forklift for the movement, stacking, and retrieval of diverse products (various shapes and sizes) throughout the warehouse.
  • Execute general labor duties, including the manual lifting of materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Support the loading and unloading of trucks, guaranteeing the accurate and swift handling of inbound and outbound goods.
  • Perform mandatory daily inspections of equipment and immediately report any mechanical faults or maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment and strictly adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures.
  • Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure streamlined operations and timely completion of customer orders.
  • Assist with physical inventory counts and maintain precise documentation of stock movement.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
  • Possession of a valid forklift license is essential.
  • Previous experience within a warehousing or logistics environment is strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to perform physical general labour duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Successful completion of all required Randstad 4safe training (WHMIS, Dangerous Goods, Health and Safety) is mandatory prior to starting.
  • Must own and wear steel‑toed boots and a safety vest.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the Mount Pearl location is required.
