Job summary

Tempur Sealy International in Pickering, Ontario, is seeking an organized Warehouse Associate focused on order picking, packing, and dispatching products in a fast-paced facility. You will load and unload goods, maintain safe storage, and ensure accurate quantities prior to shipping.

Candidates should have 2-3 years warehouse experience, a forklift license (training provided on site), and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Order picking with forklift;
• Pick, pack, prepare and dispatch products as per order;
• Load and unload goods in safe manner;
• Ensured proper storage of products in the warehouse;
• Verify quantities and items accurately before shipping and receiving;
• Inspect and perform maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Assist with assembly operations as required
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

• 2-3 years related work experiences.
• Forklift License required - will provide training on site specific equipment as required
• Experience working in busy warehouse setting
• Demonstrated ability to read and follow instruction
• Excellent eye and hand coordination
• Physical fit and able to lift up to 60lbs
• Strong team player and can work independently
• Reliable and punctual
• This job involves sitting or standing for long periods of time
