Job description

Join our team as a Forklift Operator. We need a calm and vigilant person to manage the movement of our diverse inventory.

You will primarily operate a forklift to load and unload goods of all sizes and weights. Occasional manual lifting is required, with the ability to handle up to 75 lb loads.

50% Forklift Operator / 50% Admin work. Perform basic computer functions such as answer emails, print paperwork, and enter information in TruckMate (training will be provided for TruckMate).

Must-Haves: A valid forklift license and established experience in a loading/unloading environment are non-negotiable.

Schedule: Monday – Friday: 4am – 12pm

$23/h

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading: Handling freight in and out of trailers. Products come in a variety of shapes and sizes.
• Forklift operation: Perform 75% of tasks using a forklift. Must have a valid license and previous experience in LTL loading and unloading.
• Manual handling: Perform 25% of lifting tasks, with the ability to regularly lift weights of 50 to 75 pounds (approximately 23 to 34 kg).
• Perform basic computer functions such as answer emails, print paperwork, enter information in TruckMate (training will be provided for TruckMate).
• Safety: Maintain a safe work environment and cooperate with the team. Compliance with safety rules is paramount.

Qualifications

• Have a valid external forklift license.
• Have previous experience in LTL loading and unloading.
• Be able to lift 75 pounds.
• Hazardous goods certification (an asset).
