Job description

Overview

This position is ideal for a calm, safety-conscious person. The main role involves loading and unloading a wide variety of goods of various sizes and weights. You'll spend most of your time operating a forklift (75% of the work), but must also be able to lift loads of up to 75 lbs (25% of the work).

$20/h

Schedule: NIGHT shift
Monday to Friday: 12am-8am
MUST own a car. Access to the location is not served by bus during the weekend.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift (75% of tasks)
• Using RF scanners
• Wrapping pallets
• Repetitive lifting 50-70 lbs (25% of tasks)
• Loading and unloading: Handling freight in and out of trailers. Products come in a variety of shapes and sizes
• Maintain a safe work environment and cooperate with the team

Qualifications

• Valid forklift license (external)
• 2 years counterbalance forklift experience
• 1-2 years warehouse experience
• Previous experience in LTL loading and unloading
• Be able to lift 75 pounds
• Hazardous goods certification (an asset)
