Job summary

Coastal Steel Construction Limited is seeking a dependable forklift operator to support manufacturing and shipping operations in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. You will load, unload and move materials, operate forklifts and other handling equipment, and prepare orders for shipment.

The role requires 2+ years in the industry, the ability to lift heavy loads frequently, and a commitment to safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with forklift operation is required.
• At least 2 years experience in the same industry required.
• Physically fit and able to frequently lift in excess of 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently load, unload, and move materials using manual labor or mechanical equipment.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment to move heavy materials.
• Pack and prepare materials for shipment.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
