The Role

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Forklift Driver / Production Assistant plays a key role in maintaining an efficient and steady production flow. This position is responsible for supplying all manufacturing areas with required materials, removing finished goods, and ensuring seamless movement of products, equipment, and supplies across the facility.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure production areas remain supplied with necessary raw materials and packaging supplies.
  • Provide raw materials, masterbatch, and re-pelletized materials as needed, including opening raw material bags, filling surge bins, and preparing mac bins.
  • Deliver packaging materials for all machines such as pallets, bins, corrugates, polybags, trays, sheets, frames, and neutral cup stock for printing and labeling.
  • Collect, wrap, scan, and store finished products while maintaining batch integrity and traceability.
  • Unload the dunnage trailer as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Report any incidents immediately to the Warehouse Manager or Production Team Lead.
  • Follow all company rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Warehouse Manager or designate.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years operating a Forklift in a production environment
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized, and positive manufacturing environment
  • Valid forklift license
  • Ability to frequently lift, push, or move items weighing 50–70 lbs
  • Ability to work 12-hour Continental Shifts (full-time)
  • Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude and a strong team player mindset
