Job summary

A leading health organization in Toronto is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to provide psychiatric and general nursing care in a structured environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience with forensic patients, and a valid nursing license. This position requires the ability to work effectively within a diverse inter-professional team and is part of a collaborative environment focused on mental health. Shift rotation and weekend work are required.

Qualifications

  • Must be a member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Current B.C.L.S. (CPR) certificate required.
  • Psychiatric/mental health nursing experience with forensic patients is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Provide client-centered psychiatric and general nursing care.
  • Perform client assessments and develop care plans.
  • Ensure security and safety of the inpatient unit.
