The City of Burnaby’s Food Services is actively seeking a Food Services Lead Hand to work as part of their kitchen team. If you want to be part of a winning team that is passionate about the work they do, this is the job for you.

  • Preparation of a moderate selection of menu items and operation of the concession area.
  • Planning, assigning, and supervising staff and performing related clerical and maintenance work during major events.
  • Staffing, scheduling and control of food product inventory.

Pay, Hours, Location

Pay Rate: $25.22 per hour + 12% in lieu of benefits
Hours of work: This is an auxiliary position; shifts can vary based on operational requirements and are scheduled on an as needed basis. Shifts may be up to 8 hours, starting as early as 6:00 AM and ending as late as 2:00 AM, Monday to Sunday, 4‑5 days a week, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Locations: Riverway Clubhouse, Burnaby Mountain Clubhouse, and Mintara.
