A local food service provider in Edmonton is looking for a full-time supervisor to oversee food preparation staff. You will establish work schedules, ensure quality standards, and address customer concerns. The ideal candidate has a secondary school graduation certificate and experience in a similar role. This is a permanent position with no remote option and salary at $18.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week.
Qualifications
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to supervise and coordinate activities of food preparation staff.
- Must pass a criminal record check.
Responsibilities
- Establish methods to meet work schedules.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
- Ensure food and service meet quality control standards.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports.
- Supervise and check assembly of trays.
- Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys.
