Job summary

Tim Hortons in Strathmore, Alberta is seeking a Food Service Supervisor (NOC 62020) to organize schedules, supervise a team, and maintain quality and service standards in a fast-paced coffee shop environment. You will train staff in sanitation and safety, address customer comments, keep records, and prepare reports to help our team run smoothly.

This is a permanent, full-time role with 40 hours per week, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising 5–10 staff in a food service environment.
• Ability to train staff in sanitation and safety procedures.
• English language proficiency sufficient for customer service and reporting.

Job overview: responsible for establishing methods to meet work schedules, supervising staff, training, quality control, customer service, record keeping and reporting.

Responsibilities

Work Conditions

• Hours: 40 hours per week, covering early morning, evening, shift, morning, night, day, and weekend shifts.

• Physical: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, walking, physically demanding.

Qualifications

• Ability to supervise 5-10 people – food service counter attendants and food preparers.
• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
• Experience: 1 – less than 2 years.
