Bonnet Eatery located at #6957, Giscome Road, Prince George B.C.V2N 6T5, is looking to fill the position of Food Service Supervisor to work with our Restaurant Manager.

Salary: $21 per hour for 35 work hours per week. Job Type: Full Time, Permanent. Language: English. Position available: 1. NOC Group: 62020. NOC Job Title: Food Service Supervisor. Education: Completion of Secondary School.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Job duties for this position include:

  • Managing day-to-day operations of the restaurant;
  • Scheduling, supervising, and coordinating the activities of the restaurant staff;
  • Establishing methods to meet work schedules;
  • Resolving customer complaints as well as conflicts among staff and ensuring maximum customer satisfaction;
  • Supervising staff duties, including delegation, scheduling, evaluating, interviewing, training, and mentoring responsibilities;
  • Training staff in job sanitation and safety procedures;
  • Estimating and ordering ingredients and supplies;
  • Maintaining an inventory of supplies;
  • Ensuring that all restaurant equipment and gadgets are in safe and working condition and taking care of maintenance and repair of equipment;
  • Ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards;
  • Maintaining a safe and clean restaurant in compliance with the restaurant’s food safety regulations;

Job Requirements:

  • 1 year or more of experience in the food services industry is required;
  • Good communication skills, positive attitude to work, and people management skills;
  • Ideal applicant must be available to work on any scheduled, rotational, or call-in shifts, which includes weekends, nights, and mornings;
  • Able to work under pressure and time constraint in a fast-paced environment;
  • Candidate must have completed a food safety course.
