Neighbourly Pharmacy is currently accepting resumes for a full-time Barista (Food Service Staff) to join our Team at Starbucks (Pharmasave #416) in Weyburn, Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities

• As the face of Starbucks, Baristas create uplifting experiences and craft perfect beverages, one person and one cup at a time. The opportunity is yours to take.
• Greet and welcome guests with hospitality - sometimes you will be the first person they see to start their day.
• Deliver the Starbucks Experience through legendary customer service, prompt service, and quality products.
• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Take customer orders and prepare food items according to standardized recipes
• Complete guest orders including coffees, pastries and more.
• Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed.
• Keep the restaurant clean and organized.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
• Work with a team to make the guest’s day.
• Collaborate with other Baristas to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.

Qualification

• Previous Starbucks experience is not a requirement but would be considered an asset.
• Cash handling experience, including cashiering duties, is an asset.

• Must have open and flexible availability to work various shifts, which would also include weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to resolve customer issues effectively.
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience in food preparation is a plus.
• Previous food service experience is an asset.

Schedule

• 32 to 40 hours per week. (Full-time)
• This location is open from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday to Sunday.
• Candidates must be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts to support operational requirements, including daytime, opening, and closing shifts as needed.
