The Sales Representative contributes to the success of PepsiCo Canada by maximizing business growth through the acquisition of profitable Frito-Lay, Quaker products, and vending customers such as restaurants, bars and parks. The ideal candidate for this role will be based in Sudbury, Ontario.

Responsibilities
  • Gaining in market experience to learn the business from the ground up
  • Utilizing problem-solving skills to grow volume, revenue and profitability
  • Influencing and collaborating with the AFH team, key accounts and customers to meet consumer demands within the territory
  • Utilizing entrepreneurial spirit to own all aspects of the territory and grow the business
  • Prospecting and acquiring new Away From Home accounts using customized selling tools, data and the latest technology
  • Build current business base by responding to customer calls and resolving issues
  • Convert local and national business accounts, while leveraging our custom marketing tools and equipment
  • Identify and align internal resources required to support account execution
  • Provide superior customer service
  • Utilize data analytics to identify new volume opportunities and close distribution gaps of products
  • Ensure merchandising standards are executed in all accounts
  • Activate local marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance
  • Monitor and report on competitive activity
Qualifications
  • 1-2 Years of relevant work experience or equivalent mix of education and experience
  • Business degree or diploma required
  • 1-2 years of fact-based direct selling experience preferred
  • Food Service or Consumer Products experience preferred
  • Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency: Microsoft Suite
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with effective written and verbal communication and excellent presentation skills
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and own vehicle
