Job summary

Circle K is hiring a Food Service Specialist to support the Central Canada Merchandising Team with food safety and quality assurance across designated stores. You will review programs and products for compliance, create detailed reports, and provide findings to management.

The role emphasizes training store teams, supervising new store start-ups, and traveling frequently to ensure standards are met. The position requires strong knowledge of HACCP, the ability to coach staff, and up to 80% travel

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of food service industry experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint) and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise training of store teams on food safety and quality assurance (FSQA) to meet HACCP standards.
• Oversee new store start-ups and remodels for Foodservice.
• Visit assigned stores on a set schedule to provide food safe-quality assurance monitoring functions.
• Create detailed reports and provide these to management staff.
• Coordinate with Category Managers and district leadership to ensure training materials are current and effective.
• Travel up to 80% in Southwestern Ontario for store visits and training.
