Job summary

The Department of National Defence is seeking Food Service Helpers to support dining operations at CFB Borden. You will contribute to meal preparation, serving, and overall food service delivery as part of a large institutional team.

Applicants should have experience in food service and be able to follow strict food safety guidelines, with asset qualifications including culinary training and a valid food safety certificate. On-site work at CFB Borden is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food service environment as part of a team.
• Ability to follow safety, hygiene and PPE procedures.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation, assembly, and serving of meals.
• Gather or transport food products and supplies.
• Replenish serving areas and sanitize workspaces.
• Operate POS or perform cashier duties if required.
• Support a large institutional dining facility as part of a team.
