Job summary

A leading food manufacturer in Winnipeg seeks a Central Laboratory Technician Level 2 for its Quality Assurance department. The role involves performing laboratory tests, checking ingredients, conducting internal audits, and collaborating with the Quality Assurance Manager. Ideal candidates will have a background in laboratory work and food manufacturing, a degree in Food Sciences, and strong problem-solving skills. This is a full-time position with a daily work schedule of 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a laboratory and food manufacturing environment is an asset.
• Familiar with Internal Auditing and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform various in-process tests and ingredient checks.
• Conduct internal audits and document results.
• Investigate customer complaints in collaboration with the QA Manager.
