Agilus is recruiting for several Food production workers in the food industry in Ottawa, Ontario.

Our client is actively seeking candidates to work in their Kitchen department to assemble the prepared food items for their stores. This is a 3 month contract with possibility for permanent hire!

Responsibilities

• Labeling
• Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs
• Cut and prepare vegetables for soups and salads
• Prepare orders for multiple stores

Qualifications

• Candidates must be reliable, hard working, fast in production
• Must have CSA Approved steel toe boots or shoes
• Ability to work 5 days a week between 10am to 7pm including weekends
• Must be comfortable working in a cool and wet environment
• Must be able to communicate in English and be legally eligible to work in Canada
• Looking for long term employment
• Must adhere to all food preparation standards
