We’re hiring a maintenance technician to support daily facility upkeep, equipment repairs, and preventative maintenance schedules. You’ll work hands‑on to keep operations running smoothly.

Pay Rate: From $25 per hour (as per experience)
Hours: Day shift – Monday to Friday – starts between 6am and 9am
What You’ll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs on production machinery, packaging equipment, conveyors, boilers, pumps, and other facility systems.
- Install, align, and dismantle machinery and mechanical equipment according to specifications and safety procedures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, schematics, and equipment diagrams.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and minor electrical issues to minimize downtime.
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed, using welding, machining, or other trade skills.
- Work closely with production and quality teams to maintain safe, efficient, and food‑compliant operations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment history records.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending upgrades or modifications to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, health & safety standards, and GMP requirements.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Licensed Industrial Millwright (433A) or equivalent trade certification highly preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing or other high‑speed production environments.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Welding and fabrication experience an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Understanding of GMPs, HACCP, and food safety protocols.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work full‑time hours as required by this position.
