Job summary

A leading chocolate manufacturer in Burnaby, BC is seeking a Production Manager to oversee daily operations and lead quality control. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and leadership skills to develop production schedules and manage team performance in a fast-paced environment. This full-time position requires physical presence at the location. Competitive hourly wage and benefits are provided.

  • Salary: $37.00 hourly / 40 hours per week
  • Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities
  • Develop production schedules and duty assignments to ensure proper functioning
  • Evaluate daily operations
  • Plan and organize daily operations
  • Direct quality control inspections
  • Hire, supervise and train or oversee training of employees in the use of new equipment or production techniques
  • Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems and methods of work
  • Plan and manage the establishment of departmental budget
