Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Food and Consumables Associate to deliver exemplary customer service by upholding the company values, maintain and zone the food and consumables area, and assist with stocking and selling goods.

You will zone the department, rotate stock, ensure shelves are signed and priced, and follow cold chain and labeling procedures to keep products safe and compliant. The position starts at a minimum hourly rate of CAD 16.15.

• Age – 16 or older

Responsibilities

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organization and product is in the correct location
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell‑by dates, and expiration dates
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
