Job summary

MASO Recruit is hiring a Food Counter Attendant for the location in Chatham, ON. The role is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours/week) with a starting date as soon as possible. Salary offered is $15.50 per hour.

Location is Chatham, Ontario (N7M 3G8). Applicants may be eligible for youth, Indigenous peoples, or newcomers to Canada programs. Training is provided on the job, with duties including taking orders, food preparation, and maintaining a clean kitchen.

Qualifications

• Will train on-the-job to perform duties.
• No prior experience required as training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Take customers' orders.
• Package take-out food.
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items.
• Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• Keep records of the quantities of food used.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment.
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
