Job summary

Alberta is seeking a kitchen helper/food assembler to remove trash, clear containers and help store supplies. The role includes washing and peeling vegetables, cleaning tables and appliances, and supporting cooks and kitchen staff.

This position is permanent part-time with a pathway to full-time, offering 20 to 40 hours per week and pay in the $15.00–$17.00 hourly range. Ideal candidates enjoy teamwork, keeping a tidy kitchen, and following safety practices while contributing to meal preparation

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and clear kitchen garbage containers.
• Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, cupboards and other storage areas.
• Wash and peel vegetables and fruit; clean work tables, cupboards and appliances.
• Sweep and mop floors and maintain general cleanliness of the kitchen area.
• Assist cook and kitchen staff with daily tasks and meal preparation.
