Job summary

Walmart Canada in Canada is seeking a Food and Consumables Associate to provide exemplary customer service while maintaining the food and consumables area and assisting with stocking and sales.

The role includes zone maintenance, stock rotation, proper signing and pricing, adherence to cold chain and food safety standards, and following ordering and pricing procedures. Minimum pay starts at 18.05 CAD per hour.

What You'll Do...

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organization and product is in the correct location
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.05.
