Job summary

Pursuit in Canada is hiring for a seasonal Front of House supervisor for Spring/Summer 2026. This full-time role oversees the front-of-house team, coordinates scheduling and guest service, and supports the F&B operation at altitude with a focus on safety and guest satisfaction.

The role requires at least one year of supervisory experience, strong leadership, and the ability to excel in high-volume settings, including outdoor conditions. Starting wage is CAD 21.00/hour.

• Detail oriented, strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with high volume and demonstrated professionalism under pressure.
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in indoor and outdoor environments at high altitude.
• Be prepared for all weather conditions (Snow, Rain, Wind, Hail).
• Proven track record of safety-first practices.
• Experience with POS, Microsoft Office, cash handling/cash outs.
• Secondary language skills an asset.
• Criminal record check required.
• Starting wage: CAD 21.00/hour.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling, recognition and performance management duties for daily operations.
• Coordinate F&B orders and inventory with the F&B Manager.
• Ensure accuracy in cash, debit and credit card transactions.
• Prepare and verify daily cash reports.
• Handle service-related issues and resolve guest concerns.
• Escalate as required.
• Keep restaurant area clean and organized.
• Other duties as assigned by the F&B Manager.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide support, training and coaching to ensure the front of house team delivers an interactive, knowledgeable and professional Food & Beverage experience.
• Actively participating in the daily Food & Beverage operation including coordination of scheduling, recognition and performance management duties - all with best office view you could ask for!
• Coordinate Food & Beverage orders and inventory with the Food & Beverage Manager.
• Ensure accuracy in cash, debit and credit card transactions.
• Preparation and verification of daily cash reports.
• Act as the direct line of support in handling any service-related issues, actively listening to guest concerns/issues and finding effective resolution.
• Escalating as required.
• Ensure the restaurant area is clean and always organized.
• Other duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager.
