Responsibilities
  • Achieve revenue and profitability targets
  • Manage inventory
  • Ensure effective reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and communication to the greater team
  • Build a high‑functioning and positive team
  • Create the “WOW” experience for each guest
  • Continuously improve guest and employee experiences
  • Develop consistency within the Food and Beverage offerings and improve standards based on guest needs and wants
  • Perform daily inspections on cleanliness and organization
  • Train the team to view the outlets from a guest’s perspective
  • Resolve on‑spot guest service issues
  • Create proper service standards, procedures, key notes for greeting guests, pairing food and wine, upselling, clearing, and timing on tables
  • Schedule staff following labour guidelines from the Food & Beverage Manager
  • Ensure food quality follows guidelines set by the Food & Beverage Manager and Executive Chef
  • Submit daily reports on promotions and guest feedback
  • Work collaboratively with the Back‑of‑House as one team, one food and beverage department
  • Partner with sales, marketing, and group services to execute events
Qualifications
  • 1 year of experience in a leadership role
  • 2+ years of experience in the food and beverage industry, preferably high volume
  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality with a focus in Food & Beverage (asset)
  • Experience building relationships and working across all levels of an organization
  • Strong experience in upscale and high‑volume restaurants and special event execution
  • Proven track record in maintaining high organization on and off the floor
  • Effective communicator who can implement and uphold high service standards
  • Driven to foster a team‑building environment and create positive guest experiences
  • Eye for detail and quality
  • Leadership style that is positive, calm, consistent, and focused
Work Environment

The position is located in the iconic Canadian Rockies. You will work in a beautiful and inspiring setting, with opportunities to explore breathtaking scenery and wildlife. The job requires physical activity such as walking, stair climbing, bending, reaching, and lifting (up to 50 pounds with assistance). You will collaborate with a global team and engage in numerous team events.
