Job Description
  • Perform door-opening tasks such as clearing the table, polishing glasses, folding napkins, and rearranging condiments.
  • Attend general and pre-shift meetings to update knowledge on special offers and inventory issues, and discuss service and product issues.
  • Assist managers and hosts with meeting, greeting and seating guests, and providing food and wine menus.
  • Introduce yourself to customers and inform them of special offers and out-of-stock items before they choose menu items.
  • Ensure drinks are reserved promptly and replenished continuously. Ensure accuracy when entering orders into the point of sale (POS) system.
  • Track food and drink orders at home (BOH).
  • Evaluate customers to determine their level of satisfaction with the product and overall experience, and provide feedback to management.
  • Deliver checks to customers upon request, and greet and thank them sincerely upon departure.
  • Perform closing duties such as sweeping and vacuuming, and prepare laundry for the laundry service to pick up.
Requirements
  • More than 1 year of experience working in a high-end or large‑scale restaurant.
  • Complete product knowledge training and written and spoken exams.
  • Know how to maintain a solid customer base.
