Job summary
A leading engineering consultancy in Canada is seeking a TCB Design Engineer to develop oxygen control systems for semiconductor processes. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience with gas handling and cleanroom design. Responsibilities include developing safety controls and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Competitive salary based on experience offered.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in precision equipment design for semiconductor, display, or vacuum systems.
- Familiarity with TCB, CoWoS, or hybrid bonding environments preferred.
- Experience with cleanroom mechanical design and safety certifications.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop oxygen control and purge systems for TCB equipment.
- Develop nitrogen and formic acid gas delivery systems ensuring safety and flow uniformity.
- Design plasma cleaning systems for oxide removal on wafers before bonding.
- Integrate gas handling within bonder chambers and ensure compliance with cleanroom standards.
- Conduct CFD and thermal analysis to evaluate gas flow and heat distribution.
