Brand Momentum Inc. is seeking a Floral Merchandiser (Independent Contractor) to manage displays across three store locations in Barrie and Orillia. This role requires visiting assigned stores and maintaining attractive, well-stocked floral displays.

The program runs around 6 hours per week with seasonal adds, totaling 10–12 hours weekly through December 24th. A car is required. Starting rate is $20+ per hour.

Responsabilités

• Visit 3 assigned store locations 2 times per week to maintain and refresh floral displays.
• Organize and condense floral displays to maintain a neat, fresh, and attractive presentation.
• Water and care for flowers and plants according to their specific needs.
• Keep the floral display area tidy, dispose of trash, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
• Ensure floral products are correctly priced, with labels clearly visible.
• Submit detailed reports after each store visit documenting condition and actions taken.

Floral Merchandiser (Independent Contractor)

About the Position

We are currently looking for an independent contractor who is a detail-orientated Merchandiser to work at at multiple retail location, 2 in Barrie 1 in Orillia for 6 hours per week on weekdays!

Seasonal activity occurs on this program also. We are currently adding 4-6 hours per week, to cover seasonal in these 3 locations.

Combined hours for this role until December 24th would be 10 - 12 hours per week.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Floral Merchandiser to join our team as an independent contractor. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the aesthetic presentation, maintenance, and care of floral displays across multiple store locations. The ideal candidate will visit assigned 3 stores, regular covered to two times a week, ensuring the displays are visually appealing, well-stocked, and properly priced. Previous plant knowledge is a plus but not required.

CAR REQUIRED

Starting Rate: $20+/HR

Key Responsibilities: Ongoing

• Store Visits: Visit 3 assigned store locations 2 times per week to maintain and refresh floral displays.
• Floral Display Maintenance: Organize and condense floral displays to maintain a neat, fresh, and attractive presentation.
• Plant Care: Water and care for flowers and plants according to their specific needs, ensuring they remain healthy and vibrant.
• Cleanliness & Organization: Keep the floral display area tidy, dispose of trash, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
• Pricing: Ensure floral products are correctly priced, with labels clearly visible.
• Call Reports: Submit detailed reports after each store visit, documenting the condition of displays, inventory, and any actions taken.

Seasonal Program Schedule

Outdoor Program

• 3 visits per week
• Approximately 30 minutes per visit
• Initial setup: Approximately 3-4 hours

Poinsettia Program

• 3 visits per week
• Approximately 1-2 hours per visit

Program Duration: Approximately 6-9 weeks between week of October 26th - December 24th Christmas
