What You Will Do
  • Provide up to date communication and photos to Production Manager regarding status of work
  • Determine category of water loss
  • Manage on site emergency response tasks such as water pumping, removal of drywall, mitigation, drying etc.
  • Extract water using truck mounts and portable pumps
  • Work collaboratively with Content and Hazmat crews
  • Set up necessary drying equipment as per industry protocols
  • Clean and sanitize structures
  • Monitor drying process and adjust/remove equipment as required
  • Refer any questions from property owners or adjusters to the Project Manager
  • Fill out and submit necessary paperwork related to each job in a timely fashion
  • Ensure work sites are kept safe and clean of debris upon completion of job
  • Work within an On Call rotation for after-hours emergencies
What You Have
  • Clean Criminal Record Check
  • Valid BC Class 5 Drivers License
  • Superior customer service skills and utmost professionalism with clients
  • Able to communicate effectively in English
  • Able to work alone or with minimal supervision
  • Able to lift industrial fans
  • Able to load/unload wheeled industrial dehumidifiers
  • Knowledge of construction and basic building materials
  • Safe use of power tools and hand tools
  • Water Damage Technician experience is an asset
