Job summary

Equation Staffing Solutions is recruiting Construction General Labourers for temporary and casual assignments in Red Deer and surrounding areas. This role offers exposure to various construction projects and flexible schedules.

Candidates should be physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs, comfortable outdoors and indoors, and able to accept short-notice assignments as needed. Own PPE such as steel-toe boots and hard hat is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or general labour is an asset.
• Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and performing demanding work.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Ability to accept casual and short-notice assignments as available.

Responsibilities

• Assist tradespeople and site supervisors with general construction duties.
• Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials.
• Perform site cleanup and maintain safe, organized work areas.
• Assist with demolition, site preparation, material handling, and other labour-intensive tasks.
• Use basic hand and power tools when required.
• Follow all site safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
• Perform additional general labour duties as required.
