Qualifications

• Must be able to plan, judge and make decisions in a fast paced retail environment.
• Balance teamwork with efficient processing of customer orders.
• Maintain organized and neat work area and checkout space.
• Demonstrate accuracy and speed in processing customer orders and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and engage with customers at the checkout.
• Keep the checkout area neat and organized and greet customers warmly.
• Accurately scan or enter product data and handle cash, coupons, and loyalty points.
• Ask for PC Optimum card at each transaction and ensure correct application of discounts.
• Follow merchandising standards for signage, facing, labeling and inventory control.
• Adhere to loss prevention standards and manage cash, lottery and stamp inventories.
• Present a professional image per Uniform Policy and maintain store health and safety standards.
