Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in social, health, or legal fields.
• Experience as a Probation Officer in a Community Corrections office preferred.
• Willingness to work with challenging adult clients.

Responsibilities

• Assess risks and needs, manage cases, and supervise adult clients.
• Assist the Court and decision-makers through personalized case management.
• Support clients in reintegration and contribute positively to community safety.

Skills

Experience working with people with complex social, health, or legal needs

Valid Class 5 B.C. driver’s license

Successful completion of Adult Probation Officer pre-requisite course (CORR1000)

Education

Bachelor’s degree from a Canadian designated educational institution or equivalent

Completion of a two-year diploma with 3 years of experience
